Chad Whittemore is Fab and Weld manager for Fab-Tech, Inc. Chad has been a part of the organization for twenty-seven years and was directly involved with the evolution of the Permashield Pipe product and it’s processes since its inception in 1988. He is Fab-Tech’s champion for LEAN manufacturing initiatives and was instrumental in the consolidation efforts of our fabrication and coating divisions into our current Colchester, VT facility.

Chad’s responsibilities include identifying continuous improvement opportunities to reduce costs, enhance product quality, refine manufacturing processes and improve safety. His unceasing goal is to increase the efficiency in manufacturing and to support the production of the highest quality coated duct products available.

In his free time, Chad sits on advisory boards with local technical trade centers to provide input on curriculum, equipment technology and school-to-work programs and has a certificate in management from the University of Vermont.
